Continuing our track-record of being industry pioneers, the Kao Data campus and our KDL1 data centre was the first in the UK to achieve OCP-Ready® status.

Kao Data meets the OCP’s Optimum Standard in their Data Centre Facility Project and achieves compliance across all five functional areas that the OCP Pilot programme scrutinises. This includes over 75% in the ‘Optimum’ category, meaning installed systems go beyond the base requirement - ensuring ‘future proof’ compliance with emerging standards.

With design inspired by hyperscale, Kao Data is ideally suited to cater for Open Compute deployments and pre-populated OCP racks. Features across our KDL1 data centre include:
