Introducing the Kao SEED Fund

The Kao SEED Fund, in partnership with Sector 3, stands for Social Enterprise and Environmental Development Fund, aims to provide financial support to community-led initiatives that drive social and environmental development in the borough of Stockport. This fund is designed to offer small packages of financial support and ongoing mentorship that will empower local projects focused on creating a positive impact in the surrounding community.

Our commitment to Stockport

Kao Data is proud to be part of Stockport’s business community as we build our new industrial scale data centre in Reddish. We have been warmly welcomed into this vibrant town and have witnessed the diverse initiatives across the borough, and are excited to play a meaningful role in contributing to the Stockport ecosystem.

The Kao SEED Fund highlights our dedication to sustainable growth, environmental conservation and community engagement. Together, we can build on the incredible efforts already underway and foster an environment where businesses and communities thrive.

At Kao Data, we are pioneering the future of data centres with an inclusive approach that ensures local communities are part of the journey. Our Kao SEED Fund aims to empower community-led initiatives that support a greener, more vibrant local environment. Along with our partner, Sector 3, we are dedicated to fostering collaboration, sustainability and economic development in Stockport.

Once the funds have been distributed, Kao Data & Sector3 will remain involved and on-hand to support these initiatives. We will aim to provide ongoing mentorship, resources, and guidance to ensure that each project not only gets off the ground, but also thrives in the long term.
