The Feelgood Crochet Club

The Feelgood Crochet Club was created to provide a safe and supportive space for people to connect, learn new skills, and improve their mental well-being. It was founded to help individuals, especially those without a budget, engage in creative activities that promote relaxation, confidence, and community. The club combines the therapeutic benefits of laughter and crochet, offering an accessible way for people to build confidence, develop new skills, and improve their overall mental wellness.

What will the Kao SEED Fund support?

The Kao SEED Fund will contribute towards the ongoing running of the Feelgood Crochet Club, supporting the provision of materials such as yarn, hooks, and other essential supplies for the workshops. It will also help integrate mental wellness techniques, including mindfulness practices, breathing exercises, and laughter yoga, into the sessions. This funding will enable the club to continue providing a supportive, free space for individuals in Stockport to build skills, reduce isolation, enhance mental well-being, and foster a sense of community.

Who is the project helping support?
