Kao Data Promotes Adam Nethersole to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

As new SVP of Sales and Marketing, Adam Nethersole will oversee the company’s commercial strategy, lead its sales team, and continue to strengthen Kao Data’s key customer relationships across the AI, cloud and enterprises sectors.

London, United Kingdom, 25th June 2026Kao Data, the specialist developer and operator of data centres engineered for AI and advanced computing, has today announced it has promoted the company’s longstanding VP, Adam Nethersole, to a new role as Senior Vice President (SVP), Sales and Marketing.

In his new and expanded role, Adam will lead Kao Data’s commercial and go-to-market functions, aligning sales and marketing under a unified growth strategy as the business scales across Harlow, West London and Greater Manchester.

Over the past six and a half years, Adam has been instrumental in positioning Kao Data as a leading UK provider of AI-ready infrastructure, supporting growth through impactful sales and marketing initiatives and helping evolve the business into a multi-site platform serving major customers across the AI, financial services and cloud sectors.

As SVP of Sales and Marketing, Adam will oversee the company’s overall commercial strategy, lead and develop the sales team, and continue to strengthen key customer relationships while securing major capacity agreements. His leadership and market insight will further enhance Kao Data’s position as the UK’s premier provider of advanced AI infrastructure.

Adam Nethersole joined Kao Data from Verne Global in 2020, bringing extensive experience in sales and business development. During his tenure, Adam has also led award-winning initiatives such as the KAO Academy, Kao SEED Fund and Critical Careers, significantly enhancing Kao Data’s profile across the AI, cloud and digital infrastructure sectors. His recent appointment to the techUK Data Centre Council further reflects his commitment to industry best practice and community engagement.

If your application is successful, Harlow Council will transfer the grant by BACS.  Bank details (account name, number and sort code) will need to be supplied with a summary of accounts. 

Funding conditions:  If your application is successful, your project must be delivered by 31 December 2026. You will have to return any grant funds if the project is not delivered or the organisation receiving the funding stops operating.

A contract agreement will need to be signed between your organisation and Harlow District Council before any funding is granted.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Grant recipients will be required to provide an end of project report to establish whether the project has met its aims and objectives, as well as to assess the overall impact on participants. Funding for the project is provided on the basis that the Project Evaluation form is returned within the agreed project timescale (no later than 31 January 2027).

Risks and Liabilities: In giving grants the ‘Harlow Council’ will require the supported project organisation or groups to accept all risks and liabilities associated with the activity being supported. This will be a condition of the grant.  Copies of relevant documents may need to be provided if the application has been approved.
